By downloading or using CurrentCost (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. License
Index Labs grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated by reference.
2. Informational use only
CurrentCost displays electricity pricing, grid, and energy-mix data sourced from third parties, including the U.S. Energy Information Administration. This information is provided for general informational purposes only. Rates, generation mix, and timing estimates may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial, energy, or purchasing decisions. Always confirm pricing with your utility provider.
3. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Your use of the App and any data within it is at your own risk.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Index Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App or any data it presents.
5. Third-party data and services
The App relies on third-party data sources and services, each governed by its own terms and privacy policies. Index Labs does not control and is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of those sources.
6. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. CurrentCost does not collect or transmit personal information.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
